Experience Required. ISO a highly skilled and reliable Mill Operator for Hurco CNC milling machines and/or expertise in surface grinding and form grinding to join our precision manufacturing team. This role requires experience working with steel to meet blueprint specifications and requires holding tight tolerances. This company manufactures precision cutting tools called broaches for the aerospace industry. Employees must have a strong mechanical background and take pride in craftsmanship. Perform fabrication, assembly, and packaging operations. Principal Responsibilities Fabricate fittings to customer specifications using customized fabricating equipment, hand, power tools, adhesives, and fixtures. Obtain components from stock/production. Set-up equipment to match product requirements. Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment and demonstrate good communication skills. Inspect completed parts. Prepare parts for shipping by placing them in boxes or on pallets. Correctly label all parts and boxes as needed. Visually inspect all incoming pipes, components, and gaskets for defects. Apply 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles. Maintains a safe working environment by following Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and attending training that is provided where required. Maintains a respectful working environment by following Human Resource Policies and attending mandatory training when required. Assist in the coordination, preparation, and execution of year-end inventory. Completing and maintaining reports for managers as required, which may include: Production reports Scrap reports Other duties may be assigned when applicable. Requirements Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred, however, full training will be provided Must be knowledgeable in basic math Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Must be a self-starter with good interpersonal and verbal communication skills coupled with an eagerness to learn Good team player including with a demonstrated ability to chip in to and foster a positive team environment Working knowledge of Health and Safety practices is helpful. After training, should exhibit an understanding of various types and sizes of pipes. Summary The Production Technician is responsible for assembling, calibrating, and testing our products, as well as performing measurement services related to our products.  This full-time, hourly role involves hands-on assembly and testing of precision products, as well as performing repair services in a controlled lab environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform manual assembly and repair of components according to detailed work instructions, drawings, and specifications. Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using imaging software and other precision tools. Operate and maintain lab instruments and equipment. Maintain accurate production records, including workflow documentation and quality logs. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to identify and resolve assembly issues. Follow all safety, quality, and cleanroom procedures, including gowning protocols and material handling guidelines. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional training. Requirements High school diploma or GED; A.S. Electronics, technical training or certification is preferred. 6-12 months experience in cleanroom assembly, manufacturing, or technical environment; familiar with ESD protocols and procedures. Basic understanding of electronics, electronic assembly and schematic interpretation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access). Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting and data collection to aid in root cause analyses. Demonstrated ability to multi-task without compromising quality or attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to adapt to shifting priorities and evolving product requirements to maintain productivity and quality.
