El Shaddai Foster Family Agency is seeking foster/resource parents who have a desire to open their heart and their home to foster children who require additional help and support to overcome the consequences of past trauma and loss. ISFC Foster care reimbursements are approximately $3100 per month. ISFC parent(s) are provided trauma informed trainings and continued education to assist in the preparation of care for these children and continued learning to enhance your abilities over time. All ISFC parents will be provided with a case worker and a trained staff person to provide in-home therapeutic care. Children will be connected with behavioral health specialists to assist in the healing process, counseling services and in some cases, medication management. We are also seeking foster families for foster children who have minor behavioral needs and support. This role involves developing a person-centered, evidence-based music therapy curriculum that addresses various therapeutic goals and engages service recipients in both small and large group activities.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, organize, and direct music therapy activities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Develop a person-centered, evidence-based music therapy curriculum tailored to individual goals. Utilize music therapeutically to address behavioral, social skills, psychological, communicative, physical, sensory-motor, emotional regulation, and cognitive functioning. Engage service recipients in leisure and educational activities through music. Promote activities that enhance wellness, manage stress, express feelings, enhance memory, and improve communication. Provide behavioral support and intervention as written in the behavior treatment plan, including physical intervention as required. Complete all required documentation on a daily basis.
