This requires the individual to work in our Kilauea office. The individual must physically be on the island of Kauai. REQUIRED SKILLS: Bookkeeping - Conduct reconciliation of various company accounts - Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner - Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function, including reviewing, coding, and processing payments - Conduct data entry and administrative duties - Perform account receivable/payable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition - Prepare financial reports through the collection, analysis, and summarization of data - Support month-end and year-end close process - Assist in preparation of documents for audits - Adept in using bookkeeping tools to enter financial transactions - Familiar with accounting and bookkeeping industry standard business practices - Excellent oral and written communications skills - High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and organization - Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines Rentals Reservations - Field vacation rental inquiries via phone and email - Help customers with rental properties based on their needs, preferences, and budgetary allowances - Process payments and sends confirmation details to customers. - Provide follow-up on bookings and related inquiries WORK LOCATION AND SCHEDULE - This is a full-time position where the employee is required to be physically present at our Kilauea Kauai office. - Standard office work hours are 9am-5pm, Monday thru Friday. Some evenings and weekends as needed. Duties include making fresh poke, ceviche, deli salads, wonton chips, tortilla chips, dressings, sauces, mayos, small cleaning projects, etc. as we make the majority of our menu from scratch.
