Apartment: The apartment will come fully furnished, minus the art on the walls. It’s a large one-bedroom, one-bathroom home with abundant natural light throughout the day and exceptional closet space. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, offering generous cabinet storage and a window that brings in both fresh air and sunlight while you cook. The entryway includes a huge closet and opens to a spacious living area with a six-person dining table, a 96-inch L-shaped couch, a 60-inch mounted TV, and a glass coffee table. There’s also an entry console (with a circular mounted mirror above it) and a TV console — both with additional storage. A big west-facing window in the living room fills the space with light and keeps the plants thriving. Down the hallway, a linen closet provides extra space for bedding, towels, and household items. The bathroom features mirrored storage above the sink, a full tub shower, and a rare window that lets in natural air and light — keeping the space fresh year-round. The bedroom is generously sized with two large windows and two spacious closets that both include shelves and long hanging rods. There’s plenty of room for a queen-sized bed, two nightstands, a 58-inch dresser, a large laundry basket, a standing lamp, and a plant near the window, with wall space to spare. A large leaning mirror beside the closets adds to the open feel of the room. The entire apartment has excellent natural light, especially in spring and summer. We are happy to provide a video upon request. Building: On the main floor, you’ll find everything you need for easy city living — a full-size elevator, laundry room, private storage units, and secure bike storage. Each floor has a convenient garbage chute, so taking out the trash is effortless. With only about seven to eight apartments per floor, the building feels private, and the neighbors are respectful and friendly. StuyTown: Located at 16th Street and First Avenue, the building sits along a peaceful, tree-lined path surrounded by greenery. StuyTown has a beautiful, park-like setting with expansive grassy lawns where residents picnic & lay out in the summer, stroll through the snow in winter, and enjoy festive seasonal décor like the massive Christmas tree & Menorah and an ice rink in December and a farmer's market in the Spring. The neighborhood also features basketball and pickleball courts, a library, an on-site café, children’s parks, and plenty of quiet spots to relax outdoors. It truly feels like your own private oasis in the middle of the city. There is also an Oval Services office directly behind our building where you can rent or purchase household items (chairs, tables, vacuums, toiletries, snacks, and more), use the printing station, or drop packages at the on-site UPS/USPS bins — perfect for quick returns. Around the corner, you’ll find a Walgreens, Starbucks, Chipotle, Chopt, Ess-a-Bagel, along with Gracefully grocery store, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Target, FedEx, and Rouge & Blanc Wine & Liquors (where StuyTown residents receive a discount). The L train at 14th and 1st is only two blocks away, and Union Square is a short walk. Pretty much all of downtown Manhattan is walking distance (Gramercy, East Village, West Village, Lower East Side, Soho, and more).
