Overview: Performs TIG Welding on aluminum, stainless steel on flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. Duties include: • Read and interpret Prints, Drawings, product documentation, and producing product meeting industry welding standards. • Use Measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers. • Verification of weld according to the customer specifications and the company’s workmanship standards. • Clean and maintain welding equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that equipment is in good working condition and all safety features/precautions are maintained. • Must have the ability to receive and maintain operator self-inspection stamp to meet quality expectations of Metal Works, Inc and the customer. • Notify Management and or Quality when corrective action is required. • Verify that Operation Steps indicated on the Job Traveler have been signed off prior to beginning job. • Complete job travelers, and ensure job paperwork follows parts through the manufacturing process. • Enter labor into manufacturing system via barcode prior to releasing product to the next operation. • Responsible for the quality and adequacy of own work. • Adherence to the Company’s Personnel Policies & Procedures. Knowledge/Skills Ability to follow instructions verbal and or written Maintains accurate and complete records. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand for an 8-10 hour shift. Lifting capabilities 15-20 lbs repeatedly with maximum lifting of 50 lbs. Education and or Experience High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, technical school certification for welding and at a minimum 1 year welding experience.

Position Summary: Analyzes specifications, lays out metal stock, sets up and operates machine tools, and fits and assembles parts to fabricate and repair metalworking dies, cutting tools, jigs and fixtures, gauges, and machinists' hand tools by performing the following duties. Responsibilities: • Study specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models, or descriptions, and visualizes product to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts. • Computes dimensions, plans layout, and determines assembly method and sequence of operations. • Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machine, and grinder, to machine parts, and verifies conformance of machined parts to specifications. • Verifies dimensions, alignments, and clearances. • Examines standard or previously used dies, tools, and jigs and fixtures, and recommends design modifications regarding construction and function of part. • Develops specifications from general descriptions for specialty tools and draws or sketches design of product. • Must help the team maintain a clean and organized environment. • Work with Maintenance Dept to reproduce machine parts for timely repairs. Skills & Abilities • Understands Controls and Instrumentation, Manufacturing Experience, Mechanical Inspection • Proficient with a variety of machine tools, including, lathes, mills, grinders, etc. • Proficient with the use of both metric and standard measurement systems. • Proficient in the use of precision gauging. • Experience with single hit and progressive dies • Experience working with progressive dies (tight tolerances) in a precision metal forming/stamping plant. • Experience trouble shooting progressive die production issues. • Follow and enforce all safety policies and procedures • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Education & Experience • A minimum 15-20 years’ experience . Job Summary: The Conventional Driver family of positions requires a current valid CDL, a satisfactory MVR (Motor Vehicle Record), an up-to-date medical card, and one years’ driving experience or equivalent classroom qualification. Must have a neat, clean appearance and the ability to pass a DOT (Department of Transportation) exam. Schedule: 4 day work week, Monday through Saturday, rotating day off + Sunday off.  Coverage area: Metro Boston Area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the safe operation of the Company vehicle while complying with all company, State and Federal regulations. Have a good, working knowledge of the assigned delivery route and be familiar with product handling requirements. Must represent the Company in a courteous, ethical and professional manner at all times. Must keep a vehicle operation log and report any necessary maintenance or other problems to the Distribution Supervisor daily and complete all necessary reports as required by DOT and HP Hood LLC. Deliver all products ordered in a timely manner and advise the Distribution Supervisor of any recommendations for improvements or problems needing attention on a daily basis. Keep accurate, daily records of accounts and collected cash. Must be able to work independently while supporting the Distribution Department. Work in a cooperative manner with managers, supervisors and peers. General Requirements: Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Able to demonstrate knowledge of safety areas reviewed in the safety orientation program. Execute assigned duties with minimal supervision. Perform assigned duties satisfactorily and in a timely manner. Maintain a clean & safe work environment. Perform all other related duties as assigned. Education and Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Current, valid CDL Reading & writing proficiency (English language) and ability to identify colors. Basic math skills. Ability to work well as part of a team. Good communication skills. Multi-tasked Individual. Ability to work independently with little supervision.
