Job Title: CNC Machinist Company: Forward Precision (NNPrecision) 1701 S 7th St STE. 8 San Jose, CA 95112 Compensation: Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm About NNP: No Name Precision, LLC (in the process of changing to Forward Precision) is a growing machine shop in the South Bay area, supporting the semiconductor industry. We utilize HAAS equipment to manufacture metal and plastic parts for our customers. We are looking CNC Set-Up person to work with us for the next 3-6 months. We need an experienced Machinist, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to be able to operate CNC equipment with minimal support. Job Description: As a machinist, your responsibility will be to take work orders and programs and run the production parts using HAAS equipment. You will be responsible for reviewing drawings, running the programs, deburring, and QCing the parts. Ensuring that your daily workload is completed, and done so accurately, communicating with the Management Team effectively if a roadblock arises. You are expected to have enough experience to be able to troubleshoot typical production issues for your part, experience in HAAS machines and reading schematics will be helpful. Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Operate HAAS CNC machines Strong attention to detail Strong interpersonal communication skills Strong problem-solving mindset Continuous improvement mindset Has experience using precision measuring tools Has experience setting up HAAS CNC Machines 4th and 5th Axis Self-starter Willing and able to follow instructions Punctual Can lift up to 25lbs regularly and up to 75lbs occasionally Not adverse to bending, reaching, squating, twisting, kneeling, and stooping daily.
