Job Summary: The Operations Assistant will play a key role in managing daily operations, supporting digital platforms, and ensuring smooth execution of renovation and operational projects. This position requires someone organized, tech-savvy, and proactive, with strong analytical and communication skills. Responsibilities: - Support both the front and back of house at the restaurant when needed. - Assist the manager with daily restaurant operations. - Assist admin tasks like schedules, checklists, and daily reports. - Follow up on restaurant construction progress and obtaining licenses and permits for restaurant opening and operation. - Provide the document/assistance for account open, service start, and license renew - Provide necessary data or reports to the manager when requested. - Reply to customer reviews on a weekly basis, maintaining brand reputation. - Handle guest questions or small concerns in a friendly, professional way. - Contact contractors or vendors for daily maintenance needs and supply orders. - Use and manage all backend systems to update menus, including but not limited to Clover, UE, DD, Toast. - Keep track of supplies, help with ordering, and make sure stock levels are maintained. - Make sure health, safety, and cleanliness standards are always followed. - Follow up on renovation projects, ensuring timely completion and quality standards. - Organize and manage all the insurance documents related to properties owned by the company. - Assist with HR-related functions, including resume review, scheduling, and sending announcements. - Collect the monthly bonus data from restaurant management team Qualifications: - Some restaurants or hospitality experience is a plus but not required. - A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills. - Good communication and problem-solving abilities. - Willingness to be flexible and help wherever needed. - Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays. - Organized, dependable, and eager to learn. - Proficient in POS and delivery platforms, including Clover, UE, DD, and Toast, as well as Microsoft Office applications. - Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred. The Station Chef aids the Kitchen Leadership team in daily operations. Station Chefs assist in the kitchens, cooking, prepping, ensuring the kitchens are stocked, FIFO, and the team is set up for success. This role requires a self-starter work ethic, the ability to work well independently and as part of a team, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for food service and food safety. The Station Chef communicates regularly with Kitchen Leadership and is active in the continuous improvement process. This role also requires that you can work and know the ins and outs of all Fort George food service and cooking lines. This non-managerial role does not have the authority to hire, fire, make decisions for recruitment, terminations, performance reviews, or any other terms & conditions of employment. Varying schedule to include weekends, evenings, holidays, and extended hours as business dictates. Essential Functions: Routinely work all hourly BOH roles as business and staffing are needed or directed by Kitchen Leadership.
