2010 Acura TL with Tech Package - $6,400 (Somerville)

address24 Knapp St, Somerville, MA 02143, USA

Description

2010 Acura TL with Tech. 182K miles, but it’s an Acura so has many good years left. I’m the 2nd owner and bought with 134K in May 2021. Very clean when I got it, so I know it was garage kept and well maintained before me. It has slept outside on the streets of Somerville for the last 4 years, so now there are scratches, minor dings, and curb rash on the wheels, but no body rust and the original paint is lustrous when clean. Heat and A/C work well. Weathertech floor mats front and rear. Completely detailed last week. About $4K put into it in the past 2 years and have receipts for all major work, including… New timing belt, water pump, and serpentine belts at 158K miles. New set of 4 tires at 159K miles (Bridgestone Weatherpeaks with a 70k transferable warranty. Great tires. One of the very few all-season tires sold that are “winter rated”). New brake pads AND rotors on BOTH front and back last August. Alignment done with the front brakes. Class III hitch installed last summer. (I used it with a cargo carrier). If you live IN the city (Somerville, Southie, Dorchester, Everett, Brockton, etc.), this is NOT the car for you. Get an Avalon instead. This is a bad city car. Low ground clearance and stiff suspension with 18” low-profile tires gets old if you spend most of your time on tight streets with speed bumps and potholes everywhere. Outward visibility isn’t ideal for city driving either (but backup camera is great for parallel parking). 19 MPG city. If you live further out and plan to drive mainly on highways and suburban boulevards, this IS the car for you. Great long-distance tourer that cruises effortlessly at 90 (so I’ve heard). Agile, handles great for a large FWD car, very planted and stable at highway speed, and great seats (heated, and passenger gets 8-way adjustable). I get 28 MPG highway. Other: Small 2” opening along the seam in driver seat side bolster. Looks fixable. Needs hood struts (I use a stick to prop up the hood). Due for tire rotation.
