The ideal candidate will have a strong background showing collaboration in solving engineering challenges, in managing projects, working in a scrum software environment, creating comprehensive reports, and facilitating project-related events and meetings. As a Program Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the life-cycle of government projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, program scope assistance, and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders. Collaboration with development teams and commercial business is crucial for success.  Requirements Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion: Taking charge of projects, ensuring they stay within scope, schedule, and budget.  Proactively raising the flag when something starts to look like it could become an issue. Identify and communicate potential technical and business issues that may challenge project completion.  Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements, expectations, and provide effective communication on project progress.  Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets: Creating detailed plans, setting timelines, and managing project budgets to ensure milestones are met.  Coordinate with internal teams: Working with teams such as developers, engineering, and product quality professionals to ensure project deliverables exceed standards.  Identify and mitigate project risks: Proactively identifying risks and escalating issues as needed to resolve them promptly.  Track project performance: Regularly monitoring project performance, providing status reports to stakeholders, including clients, management, and project teams.  Manage Gantt Charts: Using project management software to create and update Gantt charts, visualizing project timelines, dependencies, and milestones.  Create Government Reports: Generating reports for government agencies, detailing project status, budget usage, and key performance indicators.  Oversee Government Project Process: Being the main contact for government project stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project objectives, milestones, and deliverables.  Facilitate Government Project Events: Organizing and leading demonstrations and presentations of project deliverables to government stakeholders.  Facilitate Road map Meetings and Process: Organizing and leading road map meetings to define project goals, priorities, and timelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams.  Benefits Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or related field.  Proven experience in program management with at least 3 years and within a software development company.  Proficiency in project management tools.  Familiarity with JIRA.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.  Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions.  Knowledge of Agile methodologies.  Knowledge of software development or machining is desired.  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
