Date posted: September 15, 2025 Pay: From $25.00 per hour Job description: About the Role Pedro’s Judo Center is seeking a positive, high-energy Instructor to lead our CRAWL (Confidence, Respect, Awareness, Willpower, Leadership) program — a unique parent & toddler martial arts experience designed for children ages 2–4. This is more than just teaching movement; it’s about creating a welcoming, family-friendly environment where parents and toddlers bond, explore judo basics, and learn important life values together. What You’ll Do Open and prepare the dojo (unlocking, lights, set-up for class) Teach three 30-minute parent & toddler classes each Sunday, with 15 minutes of playtime in between each class Follow the CRAWL curriculum while bringing your own energy and personality to the mat Emphasize the Japanese martial arts culture of judo, etiquette, and values Reset and prepare between classes What We’re Looking For Martial arts experience (2–3 years minimum preferred; judo experience a plus) Experience working with young children and an understanding of early childhood development CPR certification (preferred, not required) Must pass a background check Positive, uplifting, and high-energy personality — someone who inspires parents and kids alike Why Join Us? $25/hour starting pay with paid training Work in a family-friendly, community-driven dojo with a strong reputation Be part of a program that makes a meaningful impact on families Growth opportunity: This role has room for growth as CRAWL program expands Job Type: Part-time Work Location: In person
