Immediate openings for a delivery driver. Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am - 3:30pm If you are interested in an interview, stop by our shop located at 19014 Des Moines Memorial Dr., SeaTac, WA 98148 between the hours of 9 AM - 3:00 PM, and talk to Jerry. Seeking a hardworking and reliable individual who can load, transport (drive a large box truck), and unload specialty custom cabinets to customers and contractors across the Greater Seattle Area. Must have a valid driver's license, clean track record of responsible driving (this will be verified), and at least 2 references we can call to discuss your employment and driving history. Must be able to lift 35+lbs. on a regular basis and be willing to support other departments in the warehouse depending on the current day's schedule. This individual will be face to face with customers daily, so professionalism and a courteous demeanor are mandatory. Must speak English. Delivery Driver Roles: -Will drive 70% of the time or more -On days where there are few / zero deliveries, drivers are expected to work in the shop and help finish cabinets that are to be delivered in the coming days. -Drivers are considered a part of the delivery department, as are other employees working to finish cabinets (post paint or stain) that are not drivers or helpers on the truck during deliveries. Tasks include, but are not limited to: -Installing drawer guides and hinge plates -Hanging doors on cabinets -Installing shelf clips and shelves -Installing drawer clips, drawer fronts, and the drawers themselves -Installing applied doors -Installing specialty items from Rev-a-Shelf (lazy susans, drawer inserts, recycle centers etc..) -Sanding cabinets in the stain room -Gathering and wrapping loose items (trim, fillers, loose shelves, paint or stain, putty that matches the color of stained cabinets) -Loading the truck and filling out the necessary paperwork to ensure all items on the delivery checklist are aboard the -truck prior to leaving for deliveries -Moving cabinets (must be comfortable lifting cabinets and moving cabinets on their own; should be able to lift at least 75lbs on their own as cabinets can weigh in excess of 150 lbs when fully assembled)
