Position Overview: The Construction Crew Member will assist in the execution of construction projects under the supervision of the Foreman and other project leaders. This role involves performing a variety of tasks on construction sites, including manual labor, operating tools and equipment, and ensuring the site is clean and safe. The Construction Crew Member will work collaboratively with the team to complete projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. General Labor: o Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials and equipment. o Assist in the assembly and disassembly of temporary structures, scaffolding, and other site installations. o Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment. 2. Site Preparation and Cleanup: o Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and ensuring the area is safe for work. o Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing waste, unused materials, and hazardous items. o Follow proper waste disposal procedures to comply with environmental and safety regulations. 3. Tool and Equipment Operation: o Operate hand tools, power tools, and light machinery under the guidance of the Foreman or experienced crew members. o Assist in the setup and operation of heavy machinery as needed. o Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. 4.
