A well-established machine shop in the San Jose area is hiring for a new janitor. This position is responsible for complete facility maintenance. Duties include: Restroom care Trash pickup and replace with trash liners Vacuuming offices Sweeping, mopping, glass cleaning, assisting in light maintenance work for the rest of the shop Job Requirements include: Complete assigned tasks and have dependable transportation. Employees should be able work with limited supervision. Requires long periods of standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 30 lbs. Employee must abide by all safety rules and procedures as well as keep their equipment and storage areas in a neat, clean, safe and good working condition. Additional Requirements: •Must be able to pass background check •Have reliable transportation •Must be able to speak English Job schedule and hours: •Probation period is at 24hrs per week, could lead to a 40hr per week position if hired full time. •Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 5:00 am to 2:00 pm •Starting Date: At your earliest convenience.
