Description

Beacon Hill is seeking a Sr. Operations and Logistics Program Associate to support the Missionary Service (MS) team. This role focuses on logistics coordination, event support, and project management for a highly dynamic, cross-cultural ministry environment. The position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders around the globe. Daily Duties: * Organize and manage missionary itineration, including travel, accommodation, schedules, hospitality arrangements, and ensuring all appropriate staff connections during visits * Facilitate delivery of updated materials to missionaries prior to itineration (business cards, prayer cards, ID badges, etc.) * Lead logistics for training and promotional events (virtual and in-person), serving as primary liaison with planning teams, managing budgets, vendor payments, agendas, and technical support * Manage online missionary bios-uploading new profiles, processing updates, performing audits for accuracy, and ensuring outdated content is removed * Collaborate with Communications and Mission Engagement teams to develop collaterals, deliverables, and maintain a secure database of missionary stories * Provide operational support, including processing invoices, reimbursements, calendar management, meeting agendas/minutes, surveys, and correspondence * Support special projects as assigned, often requiring critical thinking, problem-solving, and quick adaptation in a fast-paced environment * Serve as a trusted partner in communications with missionaries, staff, and multiple internal departments Ideal Candidate: * Bachelor's degree required; coursework in event planning, hospitality, marketing, communications, or related field preferred * 3-5 years of meeting and event planning experience (international travel experience strongly preferred) * 2-3 years of cross-cultural mission service experience preferred * 2-4 years in project management, database management, or alumni engagement roles * Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail * Proactive problem-solver who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting * Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Teams; able to maintain spreadsheets (non-complex) and manage calendars effectively * Strong communication skills across cultural contexts; experience working with diverse, multilingual audiences * Comfortable working in a faith-based environment; familiarity with the United Methodist Church and partnerships is a plus * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Additional Details: * Location: Remote with occasional in-office presence (1-2 times/month for meetings or record pickup) * Culture: Faith-based campus * Hours: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours/week (flexible start/end times, most staff online between 8:00-4:30 or 8:30-5:00) * Pay Rate: $30.77/hr * Contract Type: Contract-to-Perm (CTP) * Team Size: 3-person team within a 15-member Missionary Service unit * Busy Season: December-February (limited time off preferred during this period) * Travel: Less than 10%, mainly for occasional in-person staff meetings * Parking: Free/N/A * Training: On-the-job training provided * Start Date: After interviews are completed If you excel in event planning, logistics, and cross-cultural collaboration-and want to contribute to impactful global ministry-apply today!
