$800 / 1br - Piedmont room for rent (Piedmont)

Hello! Move-in: - Move-in Nov 1st - Rent is $800 + utilities (usually ~$150 a month). - Security deposit is $800 The room: -The room is smaller and has a slanted, low ceiling -On the 2nd floor - Another, windowless, space is also included as part of the room rental. Could maybe be used as an office/hobby space but more likely is a storage area - The room can get quite hot in the summer. The house doesn’t have central AC but the room has a window mounted AC unit. The house: -Has a small backyard. -Located within walking distance to a couple parks, local coffee shops etc. and public transit. -2 roommates, you'll share a bathroom with Graham -We all have rooms on separate floors -Currently no pets but game for a cat. House culture - Direct and consistent communication is how we like to do things - Laid back but tend to keep to ourselves and work on projects - Smaller hangs are welcome, maybe a bigger gathering for a birthday, but not a space for all night ragers. We largely keep to ourselves - Occasionally a music jam in summer in backyard - We like to keep the house clean and expect everyone to help. We aren’t chore wheel kind of people but common sense/courtesy is what we’re after e.g. dishes might sit in the sink overnight but not for days. Sometimes you’ll clean a common space cause you noticed it was out of sorts etc... - We’ll occasionally host guests from out of town for a few days or more and welcome you to do the same - Noise friendly house during the day, musicians/loud hobbyists are welcome. - 420 friendly, occasionally have some drinks About the housemates: -Graham is in his late twenties, a tech-head, videographer, animator, and artist person. He is up early and you will be sharing the main floor bathroom with him. -Eric is in his forties, a cook, and spends his time volunteering with local nonprofits, working on multimedia art projects, or in the garden.
