Opening the Future to Security at Both Land and Sea REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 2-3 years experience or combination of education and experience, fabricating and welding metal products using steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminum. Ability to follow and be certified to welding procedures. Typical daily work operations include bending, flattening, welding, cutting, shearing, straightening, grinding, sanding, routering, fitting, inspecting, and assembling steel, stainless and/or aluminum products that conform to specifications and/or tolerances. Proficiency at reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints. Good math skills. Ability to work within and meet deadlines. Ability to work well with others in teamwork capacity. Accuracy and attention to details are two important considerations for our positions. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2-5 years machining experience in moderate to high volume production environments. Experience in setting up, operating, and adjusting both manual and CNC lathe machining. Ability to inspect parts using micrometers, gage pins, thread gages, digital/analog indicators, surface plates, calipers, and other tools. Ability to read and comprehend production Bill of Materials and production orders. Team player, professional, driven to first-time accuracy, and able to work under pressure. Work Environment This position requires working the 3rd shift OR the 1st shift. The work environment includes the use of advanced CNC machining technology and requires adherence to safety and cleanliness standards.
