Mechanical Assembler Little previous experience in manufacturing is required. You can do this job if you have strong general mechanical skills and a desire to learn! PRIMARY DUTIES: Assemble and test large industrial products from bare parts, in "job shop" and production environment. This includes mechanical connections, supports and structures, and control panels. Build custom air compressor, vacuum pump, blower, and pump assembly packages. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Some experience to build and disassemble an engine or machine • Electronic Panel Assembly experience preferred but not required • Read & interpret assembly drawings • Mechanical skills • Physically able (lifting of 50 lbs occasionally) • Work well independently/self-starter and with a team DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Such duties include, but are not limited to: • Assemble mechanical assemblies; such as air ends, blowers, and other compressed air system components, working on a shop floor. • Inspects components for proper assembly, specifications, fit and finish. • Plans assembly and positions components according to the knowledge of unit being assembled and through the interpretation of engineering drawings, layout drawings or electrical schematics. • Remove small quantities of metal with hand files, scrapers or machine tools to produce close fit between parts. • Bend and install tubing and fittings for oil lubrication/cooling systems. • Align couplings and subassemblies to the gearbox or other components. • Operate drill presses, milling machines, lathes, hydraulic presses, welders and other shop equipment to assist in assembly operations. • Test completed assemblies for proper operation, temperature, vibration and noise levels and complete required written reports. Troubleshoot, repair or replace faulty components. • Provide feedback in regards to design improvements, updates, and procedures, verbally and in writing, as required. • Work in conjunction with Floor Supervisor to ensure assemblies meet design parameters. • Perform workstation and shop clean-up duties as assigned. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE Qualifications and Requirements: • Education: High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required. • Specialized training: mechanics, electrical • Previous experience is desired but not required. It should include mechanical assembly and disassembly. Desired Skills • The ability to learn to read and use handheld mechanical measurement devices (micrometer, dial indicator, caliper) as well as electrical measurement devices (Fluke meter). • Recognize common mechanical and electrical components • Passion for auto mechanics, building and/or tinkering with mechanical components • Excellent communication skills • Must work well with others in a safe and self-directed manner • Reading: Read and interpret the following documents: operating and maintenance manuals, employee manuals, safety guidelines, electrical schematics, blueprints, mechanical sketches, and electrical and mechanical reference charts. SUMMARY: Receives raw materials from railroad cars and delivers material in proper mixtures to hoppers in the storage area. Regrinds faulty product for re-use as raw materials. Ensures proper mixture of new and reground material. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: • Achieves daily quota for production. • Cleans surfaces and machines located in the Raw Materials Department. • Transfers raw materials from transportation containers through mechanical receiving systems to hoppers, blenders or tumblers. Mixes, by formula, additional raw materials including pigments, reground material and chemical agents to achieve and transfer appropriate blended material for use in injection molding machines. • Writes hopper labels describing the weight of the material and the weight of pigment contained in the material. • Operates the regrind machine to grind rejected products into raw material and operates the metal detector on the material to ensure it is clean and ready for reuse. • Reads production schedule to determine amounts of virgin and reground material that is needed to meet the production plan. • Performs minor maintenance on machines. Requirements Previous manufacturing experience preferred. Effectively communicate in both written and oral forms. Read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. Calculate amounts in percentages and fractions, including multiplication and division of fractions. Apply concepts of basic algebra. Basic knowledge of the metric system. We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Technician/Label Control Technician to join us in our purpose of providing “Clean Hands for a Healthy World.”  At Kutol our QA Technicians/Label Control Technician Provide oversight of the label area, including receipt, approval, issuance, counts, accountability and inventory.  Perform QA functions to include daily manufacturing cGMP inspection and balance/scale checks; product disposition; preparation of CoA/CoM; preparation, revision and issuance of standard operating procedures; preparation, revision and issuance of packaging instructions/specifications and provide support to internal and external customers in compliance with government regulations and customer requirements. Provide support during customer and regulatory audits. Provide support to the Incoming Inspection when necessary. The varied duties of this role allow team members to grow their skills, responsibilities of this position include: Perform visual and dimensional inspection of incoming labels using measuring instruments, specifications and drawings and determine compliance/release or rejection. Provide oversight of the controlled label area by performing receipt, approval, issuance audits, count verifications, inventory and reconciliation of labels.  Perform daily inspections of the Manufacturing areas and balance/scale checks.  Work with Manufacturing Management/Supervision to ensure quality issues are addressed. Review manufacturing records for disposition. Disposition Finished Product in SAP (i.e. Release, Reject, Quarantine). Review Work in Process, Reprocess and Rework requests for additional requirements and provide Quality approval to proceed. Review and Issue packaging instructions/specifications, formulas, Certificates of Analysis (CoA), Certificates of Manufacture (CoM) and CoA/CoM templates. Assist in writing/revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s). Issue SOPs for approval, distribute and keep SOP manuals up to date with current revisions. Maintain Master Manufacturing Records in accordance with regulatory requirements. Conduct quality investigations as directed and prepare findings. Provide support to internal and external customers. Support education of others in current Good Manufacturing Practices, applicable regulations, and company Continuous Improvement initiatives. Compile all required reports and documents on the performance of the above duties. Serve as back-up to QA Incoming Inspection when needed.
