Looking for dishwashing position for pizzeria in downtown Asheville. 30 to 35 hours per week. Shift is 2 pm-10:30 pm Must have strong work ethic and desire to learn new skills. Job requires the ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long hours at a time. Previous experience is a plus. Five day work week. Afternoon, night, and weekend availability required. We are a NY deli in Asheville that bakes for both the deli and a sister restaurant downtown. We're looking for a individual to assist part-time with our baker. We make all of our pastries, desserts, and breads. This will be about 20 hours a week. Assistant to Pastry Chef responsibilities include: -Preparing a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc. following traditional and modern recipes -Creating new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers -Decorating pastries using different icings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting -The ideal candidate will have at least some baking or kitchen experience. Must be good at following directions and taking feedback. ----They must adhere to health and safety standards to provide clients with the best possible serving.
