We are an established investigation firm accepting resumes for a full-time, experienced Workers' Compensation Surveillance Investigator from the greater San Diego region. “Experienced” is defined as someone who has at least 3 years of employment with an investigation firm, and their primary job function is doing stationary and mobile surveillance on Workers' Compensation claims and DOES NOT require any field training to start the job. ***PRIOR LAW ENFORCEMENT OR MILITARY EXPERIENCE OR SECURITY GUARD WORK DOES NOT COUNT AS WORKERS’ COMPENSATION INVESTIGATION EXPERIENCE*** Bi-lingual/Spanish speaking applicants are encouraged to apply. EMPLOYEE JOB DESCRIPTION Provide professional investigative services as requested by clients Conduct surveillance of both stationary and mobile subjects Obtain professional, clear and steady video that could be used as evidence Complete investigation reports and uploads video Utilize online case management system to review case files, information, submit summaries and reports, times and expenses Maintain verbal and electronic daily contact with management EMPLOYEE REQUIREMENTS A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Must own a laptop with Microsoft Office Must own a HD video camera Must have a smartphone with WiFi / Mobile Hotspot capability Must be proficient with Microsoft Office tools Must own a nondescript and mechanically reliable vehicle Must have and maintain auto insurance coverage limits of Each Person 100k, Each Accident 300k, Property 100k, Uninsured Motorist Each Person 100k and Each Accident 300k Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include early mornings, nighttime, long hours, weekends, holidays and out of town/overnight assignments in other California regions and sometimes out of state Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet required deadlines & due dates Able to work in extreme weather conditions COMPENSATION: Experienced: $30.00 to $35.00 an hour DOE $0.585 per mile / portal to portal Travel time / portal to portal Daily Overtime Cell phone allowance JOB BENEFITS Medical insurance Dental insurance Cal-Savers Retirement Plan PTO (80 hours per year) Paid holidays All job offers are contingent upon verification of references and passing a criminal/DMV background check.
