Cylinder Maintenance (Pasco)
Job Summary: Prepare cylinders according to established procedures. Ensure that cylinders are prepared and ready for maintenance crew as needed.
Duties include:
⢠Valve and de-valve cylinders.
⢠Scrap labels to prepare for regular maintenance.
⢠General maintenance of cylinders.
⢠Maintain a safe and clean work area.
⢠Attend Monthly Safety Meetings. Work according to established safety procedures and promote safety with co-workers. Inform supervisors of potential safety hazards.
⢠Commit to high performance through outstanding attendance and overall dependable work habits.
⢠Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal regulations and laws.
Requirements include:
⢠General knowledge of common hand tools, power tools and their proper use.
⢠Able to operate hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
⢠Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
⢠Basic computer knowledge, attention to detail, and good math skills.
⢠Good reading and writing skills. Able to read and comprehend technical manuals and government publications.
⢠Able to work independently.
⢠Able to lift/move 80 lbs.
⢠Work Environment-some outside.
⢠Must pass drug screen and background check.
Salary Range: Expected hiring salary is $22.00/hr. for Day Shift and $23.00/hr for Swing Shift. The salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary for this position which is $22.00/hr.-$29.50/hr.
