All Seasons Feeders is looking to hire a night shift candidate for a manufacturing position in our shop here on the East side of San Antonio. This position is for a sheet metal assembly line worker on the NIGHT SHIFT. The ideal candidate would have experience using tools such as hammer, air tools, forklift, etc. There is a lot of lifting, bending, kneeling, and hand movement involved in this position as well and work is inside a shop. Must be willing to work in a shop environment during cold conditions in the winter and hot conditions in the summer in Texas. Typical work schedule is four 10hr days Monday through Thursday 4:00 pm to 2:30 am. Your off on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Pay is $16 per hr and will be expected to show up every day on time ready to work. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG TEST. We can train anyone who is interested in learning, but the pay will not start at $16 and may need to be on day shift for a week or two until you get the hang of things. The position of Plant Operator consists of setting up and operating production or packing equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures for the production of all products developed. Key Responsibilities: Report daily food safety, food quality and employee safety and machine equipment problems to Plant Lead Operator and/or immediate supervisor. Obtains and practices a general understanding of equipment functions, standard operating procedures and safety policies. Prepare, set up equipment and tools including but not limited to assembling and disassembling machinery to ensure production under company quality standards. Retrieve and measure materials and ingredients according to specified recipe. Prepare, produce and pack product in conformance to specified recipe and quality standards. Clean, wash and sterilize equipment and tools using sterilizing and cleansing solutions according to the Cleaning-In-Place (CIP) system. Record measured recordings on production documents accurately and in a timely manner. · Pack products in the warehouse following the company packing procedures/standards, and warehouse safety rules. Supportive Duties and Responsibilities: General Cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition. Vacuum, Sweep, and Mop Floors. Cleaning and stock restrooms. Perform other duties as assigned.
