We have an opportunity for an experienced CNC Citizen Lathe Machinist looking for a 6-9 month, short duration assignment filling in for a machinist on leave. Start immediately for training and work through the end of March 2026.  Possibility of extending employment beyond March 2026 for the right candidate willing to transfer full-time to nights or weekend days (plus shift differential). $29-31 hr. Shift: Days, Monday=Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm With possibility of moving to Night or Weekend days by extending full-time employment beyond the 6-9 months with additional shift differential. Experience Required: 3 yrs. PURPOSE: Program, set up and operate the CNC Citizen Lathe. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Set up and run machines Schedule and prioritize jobs for CNC Citizen Lathe Check stock for materials needed for jobs Alert Production Manager about parts that need to be ordered Checks tooling on machines Assist in quoting jobs for the Swiss Machine Maintain the fluid levels on machines Grind tools for Lathe OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Train other employees on operation of various CNC lathes, if needed. Perform other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: This position typically requires 3 years experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist. Proficiency in math. The Crooked Spoon Ice Cream Production Operator I works in our food processing plant as part of a team to assemble and stage ingredients, load to create mix bases, and to flavor, extract, package and prepare to ship final product while maintaining the plant’s high standards of manufacturing and cleanliness. Additionally, the Production Operator I will drive a company truck on a pre-defined route 1-2 times per week.

Job duties will include programming and operating CNC lathes and mills. Reads and interprets blueprints and design sketches to determine the precise specifications, dimensions, and tolerance levels of the finished product. Utilizes precision measuring instruments, calipers, mics, and pin-gauges to check the accuracy and quality of machined parts. Candidates should own their measurement tools, with the company providing any specialized tools required. Typically reports to a supervisor. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Typically requires 5 to 8+ years of related experience.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: SUMMARY: Under limited direction of a lead/supervisor/manager, provides assembly support in building wire harness/wire harness board and or cable assemblies. • 5+ years: Wire harness assembly experience (highly preferred.) • Ability to read and follow wire harness assembly instructions. • Cuts, strips, crimps, or otherwise assembles the materials used to produce cable assemblies. Able to work with epoxies and adhesives. • Routes, wires, and assembles electronic components using wire layout boards • • Operate semi-automatic equipment such as crimp presses, wire twisters and wire strippers • Conducts functional and continuity tests of wire harnesses and cable assemblies using friendly test fixtures • Conducts functional and continuity tests of wire harnesses and cable assemblies using friendly test fixtures • Use of a solder RoHS / Non-RoHS/ Leaded and lead free solder connections. • Ability to evaluate any mechanical or material issues • Maintains a clean and safe work area • Performs other related duties and assignments as required. • All Production workers are expected to be available to work in all area of production * Ability to read and interpret drawings, and independently build wire harness assemblies accurately according to specifications. * Experience in independently preparing First Article builds and supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: • 5+ years’ work experience related to soldering and crimping in the electronics industry. • Ability to communicate with manager and follow written and verbal instructions. • Ability to interpret all documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, customer supplied drawings and IPC- 620 workmanship standards. • Motivated and detail oriented • Attention to detail, excellent hand dexterity • Proficient in basic math skills • Possesses good communication skills and a great attitude • Basic computer skills (database management, word processing and spreadsheet) • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
