Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, with experience in casual dining. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, pouring beer/wine, managing/serving the bar area, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety practices. Utilize SQUARE POS system for order entry and cash handling. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders and offering recommendations based on their preferences. Manage inventory levels of bar supplies and report any shortages to management. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods, particularly during live shows or special events in the evenings. Adhere to all local laws regarding alcohol service and maintain knowledge of responsible serving practices. Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for sales totals. Qualifications Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred. Familiarity with any touchscreen POS system is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions. Experience in the food industry, including catering or banquet services, is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, some evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
