We are searching for a Senior CNC operator with 3-5 years’ experience operating horizontal mills. Requirements: Senior Operators should be able to manage a job independently after set up from start to finish with little to no supervision and have the required trouble shooting skills to solve problems before resorting to escalation. Must be able to make their own off-sets and understand different off set types Must understand cutter comp Must demonstrate the ability to understand a blue print; comprehend a part and its features from the print Must be able inspect their own work and demonstrate attention to detail when inspecting parts and recognize cosmetic defects. Demonstrate understand the types of cosmetic failures. (4:00pm-2:00am Monday thru Thursday) Our night shift employees enjoy 3 day weekends! Our night shift Operators MUST HAVE at least 3-5 years experience operating CNC Machines. This person should be capable of high-precision work, while acting as a team player. Must be able to inspect your own parts. THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL CNC POSITION. Skills Required • Should be High School Graduate or GED equivalent. • Must have experience with Vertical or Horizontal Machining Centers to operate in a safe and efficient manner. • Preferably candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of experience. • Must have good communication skills both written and verbal. • Must be able to use standard measuring tools effectively. • Must have adequate math skills. • Must be very detailed oriented with good personal organizational skills. • Must be familiar with tooling, fixturing, indexers etc. • Must be able to complete inspection documentation and determine when parts are out of tolerance. • Should be able to train other operators in the process of manufacturing parts. • Must have good manual dexterity and be able to lift 70lbs. • Should have experience in an ISO 9001 environment, 13485 would be helpful. • Workshop located in Doral area (near 72nd Ave. and NW 25th Street) • Prepare parts for coating, operate all coating equipment, and follow all principles and practices of powder coating application. • Safely load and unload parts or products onto the elevated manual rail system • Ensure safety guidelines are followed to maintain a safe working environment • Properly operate manual powder coating and curing equipment • Ability to lift 80 pounds when required • Maintain a safe and organized workspace • Correctly use personal protective equipment • Perform other assigned tasks
