The Assistant Area Manager plays a crucial role in supporting field operations by overseeing personnel, quality control, scheduling, and client relations. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Field Crew Member to join our surveying team. This position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, gain hands-on experience in land surveying, and support projects that help shape infrastructure and communities. Key Responsibilities: • - Assist survey crew in conducting field surveys for construction, boundary, and topographic projects. • - Set up, operate, and maintain survey instruments and equipment (GPS, total stations, levels, etc.). • - Collect accurate field data and ensure proper documentation of measurements. • - Follow instructions from crew chief and ensure safety protocols are observed. • - Assist with clearing survey lines, setting stakes, and marking boundaries. • - Perform basic calculations and note-taking as directed. We need individual with ability to use diagnostic equipment and repair various engines, i.e. Cummins, Detroit, Cat. PACCAR, Mack, etc. Trucks range over several years.
