We are a family friendly culture that supports work life balance.  Role:  The Machine Operations Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the daily activities of machine collation and machine sorting for the Card Kingdom line of business. This person will ensure that the daily functions and procedures of the Machine Operations team are carried out effectively. The Machine Operations Supervisor’s responsibilities include ensuring workplace safety, supervising employees, planning workload, checking output quality, maximizing equipment uptime, preparing relevant documentation and implementing improvements to the assembly process. Additionally, the Machine Operations Supervisor will ensure that targets are defined for their work area and that they are adhered to. This individual will oversee onboarding, training, and upkeeping the skills of employees. They will operate machines as necessary for continuous Machine Operations productivity. Responsibilities: The Machine Operations Supervisor must: Ensure safe operations of machines and equipment Manage employee performance, which includes (but is not limited to) communicating job expectations, performing coaching, and issuing disciplinary actions Cooperate in hiring and training new employees Balance daily department throughput versus productivity goals Identify areas of improvement and innovate upon existing work procedures and practices Coordinate with staff in other departments Upkeep documentation of Machine Operations processes and procedures Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent management/supervisory experience, experience in manufacturing or distribution 3+ years in leadership roles with demonstrated progression in responsibilities Experience working around and operating warehouse/manufacturing equipment Advanced knowledge of Magic the Gathering products Working knowledge of Card Kingdom custom & bulk products Proficient computer skills & some knowledge of software programming principles is a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365   Experience with CK tools and systems is a plus Strong mathematical skills with the ability to compute ratios and percentages Punctual, dedicated, and professional behavior Organized with top-notch time management skills and ability to self-direct   Excellent verbal and written communication skills Hands-on commitment to getting the job done Proven ability to direct and coordinate team activities Ability to regularly lift to 50 lbs Possesses high emotional intelligence, a stand-out when working with diverse groups of people and perspectives Location / Work Schedule: Monroe, WA  PM Shift (3:00 PM-11:30 PM) Full Time, scheduled 40 per work week, set shifts with two consecutive days off per week (‘split’ weekend considered upon request) Overtime required, particularly for special projects, product releases, and after-mail holidays.
