LOCATION: 1164 Galleria Way Glendale, CA 91204 (Glendale Galleria) COMPENSATION: $22.50/hour The base salary or hourly wage range for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. JOB PURPOSE: Prep cooks are responsible for receiving, checking the quality of, washing, cutting and preparing the produce and food goods in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s procedures. Prep cooks must familiarize themselves with the standard cutting size of all vegetables and take care and attention to wash vegetables thoroughly. Dumpling chefs (Dumpling Prep Cooks) are responsible for preparing, assembling, closing and steaming the dumplings for the guests. Dumpling chefs work from a show kitchen and thus must maintain a clean, groomed and professional appearance. JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are searching for friendly, energetic, highly motivated people who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
