-old motor was replaced at 235k with a motor with 100k miles on it -recent battery rebalance (2 cells replaced in may 2025,) last rebalance was in 2020, so it should be good for a while, and if it needs it the same mechanic charges only $600 vs toyota much more. this is a critical component of the ownership equation, having a good independent shop to maintain. -my daily driver starting in september 2024 i have driven almost 20,000 miles, making 3 drives to dallas texas, and 3 to kansas city, it is ready for long interstate drives with fantastic fuel economy. selling to buy jet skis -mechanically sound, cosmetic defects include chips in paint, rust on fender -new rear tires (jan 2025) -this car traded hands between 2 of my acquaintances after being purchased from an esteemed gen 2 prius specialist in the area who performed the engine swap from the original 230k mile motor with a newer 100k mile motor
