This high performance steering box was used on a #9 Kasey Kahne/ Ray Evernham Racing chasis in 2006. We used to live in the Lincolnton, NC, area and "take off" NASCAR parts were plentiful... especially chasis/ steering components. Sweet Mfg.'s current offerings have evolved and changed since this early 2000's offering and present pricing ranges from $700- $1100 for individual units. I was planning to use this on a Chevelle pro-mod build but the build never came together. The ratio is- 14:1. I believe the splines are 36 with 13/ 16. The bolts have some safety wiring to meet NASCAR regs. I was told the internals have been cryogenically treated. Exterior appears to be ceramic coated. I have NOT used or installed the box to verify function but when I purchased it years ago... the parts broker gave a functional warranty (which obviously doesn't apply now.) Call/ email only. No text. My landline- 3six0 2six3 2zeronine6.
