Delightful primitive antique plank-bottom chair, possibly made for a younger person. It's only 15" at the seat height, 30" at the back height, and the depth of the seat is also about 15". It shows some age, but I believe that the pale spots will vanish with a skilled waxing or soft oiling. I did a bit of homework trying to determine the age of the chair and, given the style and location where we purchased it back in the 50a, I had to guess mid-to early-1800s.
