In these positions you will ensure all our guests are hosted in the Chandon way - elegant, professional, and welcoming. From the moment our guests arrive to guiding them during our curated Chandon experiences you will be with them to ensure their experience is a sparkling one. We have seasonal positions available working up to 30 hours/4 days per week spread across 7 days. Our working hours are weekday and weekends predominantly with occasional evening shifts available when we host exclusive events. As a Donations & Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting retail customers as well as assisting team members with the physical pick-up of donated goods in the community, the loading/unloading, processing and placement of goods in our warehouse and on our sales floor. Essential Duties: * Create outstanding customer, donor and volunteer experiences * Assist with daily in-store operations such as using point of sale system, cash register, assisting customers, answering questions, moving and staging donated goods and basic housekeeping * graciously accept drop off donations from customers and assist with loading/unloading donations and purchases * be able and willing to promote the Vision and Mission of Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake and to provide customers with information about our programs and restore promotions * assist our driver ambassadors in picking up, unloading, processing and staging donated goods * be willing to travel to and work in any of our 5 ReStore locations - Columbia, Dundalk, Halethorpe, Glen Burnie and Timonium Be able to lift 50-75 lbs frequently throughout the day, preferred but not required Be able to pass pre-employment screenings including a background check and drug screen Be willing to learn to drive a 19-26 ft box truck - preferred but not required Be available to work Full-Time Tues-Sat 9:30am-6:30pm

Key Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness within the facility, focusing on restrooms, break areas, and entrances. Perform daily cleaning routines such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting. Assist in minor repairs and maintenance tasks, alerting management to any major concerns. Help with the setup and teardown of equipment for meetings and special events. Monitor and maintain janitorial supply levels, reporting needs to management. Provide exceptional customer service by being friendly and approachable. Adhere to safety and health regulations at all times. As a DOT Driver (Non CDL)/Donations Ambassador you will be responsible for creating and maintaining an extraordinary donor, volunteer and shopper experience in the Habitat ReStore. The DOT Driver (Non-CDL)/Donations Ambassador is responsible for the safe operation and transportation of goods within a company provided 16-26 foot box truck in accordance with local, state and federal laws. This a physically demanding role, as you will be required to lift, carry, and move donations of various sizes and weight in and out of the box truck, from the warehouse to the sales floor and from the sales floor or warehouse to customer vehicles. While physically demanding the work is also rewarding and plays a critical part in the overall success of Habitat for Humanity’s mission of bringing people together to build homes communities and hope.
