This position supervises and coordinates the work of the Fiscal Services management team consisting of the Internal Business Manager (HCOE operations), the External Business Manager (school district and charter school oversight and support) and the Accounting Supervisor with the goal of ensuring that the Fiscal Services department provides consistent financial support services to local school districts, charter schools, and HCOE’s departments and programs. This position also serves as the fiscal/budget reporting contact for HCOE. Distinguishing Characteristics: The Director of Fiscal Services provides leadership and oversight of HCOE’s financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, payroll, and reporting. This role ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, advises local school districts and charter schools on fiscal matters, provides fiscal oversight over HCOE, local school district and charter school programs and supports sound financial planning across the county. Distinguishing characteristics include deep expertise in California school finance, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, clear and effective communication with diverse audiences, and the ability to lead a team with integrity, accuracy, and transparency in service of HCOE’s mission. Hello! We are looking for a friendly, outgoing multi-tasker willing to come in around 20 hours a week. We are a small neighborhood salon with two locations filled with friendly, professional stylists and are looking for someone who can help us out with clients and keeping the salon clean and running. We do not want someone who comes to work to sit around and hang out or who has sleepy energy. This position mostly involves constant light cleaning such as sweeping the floors and wiping chairs in between clients. You should be okay with getting out from behind out desk and looking for ways to make the space look better. Most of our appointments are booked online, and so phones calls, though limited, involve dealing with late clients and cancellations. You would: -clean stations between clients -clean areas of the salon where needed -dust -sweep -do laundry (towels and capes) on site -check clients in and out -answer the phones and book appointments -give the salon a final clean at the end of the day (8 pm) and lock up Schedules are flexible: Morning shifts are 9:30 am - 3:00 pm Evening shifts are 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm You should be great at customer service and proactive.
