Bring your skills to our friendly, easy to work with company.    What’s the job:   All your contracted will be assigned and managed using our online portal and inspector mobile dashboard.   Our clients’ forms require questions to be answered by a walk-through observation of properties, an interview with the insured, taking numerous photos, and periodically providing a diagram of the property. Completed reports, diagrams, details, and photos are uploaded to our system via the inspector portal within a 14-day timeframe.   You are contracted provide high-quality, comprehensive, loss control inspection reports as using established protocols, procedures, and policies of our clients and our company. Your comprehensive reports will use existing templates to identify potential loss conditions, hazards, or concerns and make recommendations to mitigate the exposures you identify in your field surveys.   Contracted inspections must be completed during standard business hours Monday-Friday. Inspectors set their own appointment schedule   What’s the pay?   We pay a flat rate for inspections; this is not hourly work. Base rates begin at $45-$75 with bids being considered. We pay monthly via ACH direct to your US based bank account. A 1099 will be issued to you each January for tax purposes.   Who you are:   A qualified, professional, reliable, business owner with a flexible schedule- A person who can clearly demonstrate experience in insurance field inspection, related work and/or has a certification from Loss Control Academy(lossscontrolacademy.com) or the Virtual Insurance Inspector Academy(inspectroinstitute.com)  in BOTH Personal and Commercial lines inspections. You must provide an FEIN number (available for free at www.IRS.gov)   As a contractor you are responsible for providing the tools of the job, which include reliable transportation, a computer with high speed internet, a smart phone with a camera, a measuring wheel, a water pressure gauge, GPS navigation (e.g. Apple Maps, Google Maps), Microsoft Word and Excel programs.   Once you have completed your first inspection you must carry professional liability insurance, also known as Errors and Omissions Insurance. Typically, policies are about $25-$45 per month depending on the volume of contract work you do for us. Policies are easily available online.  

Project Summary: Install new CO detectors for Dormitories We have 3 dormitories that will need new CO detectors installed. Each dormitory will require 16 hard wired CO detectors. The following SOW contains the list of items that that need to be completed for all 3 dormitories. There will need to be 3 quotes, one for each building using this SOW. Install three alarms in the corridor and one alarm outside the accessible bedroom in each of the four dormitory wings. The new CO alarm shall be UL 2034 listed and have a tamper resistant feature that will emit an alarm sound if the unit is removed or comes loose from a wall outlet. Alternatively, if outlets are not available, use hard-wired models, with battery backup, and connect to the nearest unswitched lighting/power branch circuit wiring using 3 #12 THHN/THWN in 1/2-inch Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT). Install and maintain in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Please see extent of work for more detail. Findings: There is a potential for occupants to be exposed to carbon monoxide (CO) from a fuel-burning appliance located in the building. The dormitory corridor in all four wings is provided with battery operated CO alarms, which are not code compliant. (IFC, 2021, 915.4.1 & 1103.9, NFPA 101, 2024, 29.3.4.6.1) Recommendation: Replace the existing battery-operated CO alarms with 16 new 120VAC powered, plug-in models (as example Model KN-COB-LCB-A by Kidde or equal) with battery backup.
