General Description The Site Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of 4-10 employees, keeping buildings in clean and orderly condition, and will perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, cleaning and stocking restrooms, washing walls, glass and upholstered furniture, and removing garbage and recycling. Duties may include notifying management of the need for repairs and safety issues. Taking pride and ownership of your duties and or areas are crucial to success. Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities General Responsibilities Training and developing team to meet customer and company expectations on their duties, proper chemical use, and safety. Performing monthly inspections. Work with direct manager on staying within set labor and supply budgets. Customer communications. Working with manager on schedules and any issues that arise. Perform their own task and ensure their teams have performed their task each day to meet expectations. Report issues, challenges, opportunities, safety concerns and issues, maintenance issues, employee issues to direct supervisor/manager. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Service, clean, or supply restrooms. Clean ceiling vents. Wash windows. Clean furniture or fixtures. Disinfectant all high touch point areas. Dust and sanitize all surface areas. Dispose of trash or waste materials. Keep track of cleaning supplies and equipment. Identify and report all safety equipment maintenance issues. Follow all health and safety regulations. Other tasks or duties as assigned by supervisor or manager Skills Required Must lead by example and by company values. Basic cleaning skills, including vacuuming carpets, mopping floors and bathrooms, are typically the most important skills for a commercial cleaner. Ability to use tools like squeegees or other specialty equipment, such as window washing tools. Floor maintenance equipment knowledge i.e., strip/wax, scrub/recoat, buffing. Operation of floor buffers and walk behind floor scrubber. Knowledge of cleaning procedures and practices preferred. Knowledge of safety practices and working safely. Good understanding of cleaning supplies and chemicals. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand verbal and written instructions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Must pass a drug test, MVR, and background screening when required. General technical skills, such as typing or using a smartphones. Safety Wears Proper PPE Uses tools and equipment properly and safely Properly uses safety equipment appropriate for the work to be done ALWAYS follows proper lifting technique Position Requirements Experience At least 3-year commercial cleaning experience. Previous leadership experience required. PHYSICAL The ability to stand for 95% of an average week. Walking, bending, twisting, climbing, turning of head and torso, crawling, reaching, flexing the arms and legs, and stooping as necessary Lifting and carrying weights up to 50 pounds to include wearing of backpack vacuum for extended periods

General Maintenance for common areas, to include repair, build, and install mailbox posts, painting, gutter cleaning, light bulb replacement, trash pickup, tree trimming, minor plumbing, and other duties as assigned. Most duties involve working outdoors year-round. Knowledge of woodworking is highly desirable, with the ability to lift 30 lbs. This is a small, well equipped business utilizing CAD design, CNC, and modern machinery. I use Vectorworks to design all projects. Some CAD and design experience is required. This is not assembly line work. Applicants must be able to set up woodworking machinery, and work independently. I also build fine furniture, specialty millwork, and install many of my projects. We are looking for qualified cabinet installers for a hotel project in Algona. This is a temporary position. The work is basic and straightforward. It is production work as most units are the same, small galley kitchenettes. There are stone tops that need to be dropped on top of the cabinets with no cutting involved, Just drop and stick. The vanities come as knock down frames that mount to the wall with small cubby cabinets below. The vanity tops will likely need to be cut to length before installation. There are other items that need installing as well, like bath accessories, window sills, door frames and hardware. The more experience the better.
