As a DSP, you will assist clients with daily living activities, encourage independence, and help them lead fulfilling lives within their communities. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct care and support to individuals at our day program and community settings. Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, ICP changes and toileting. Support individuals feeding. Promote independence through skill-building activities, including communication, transportation, and community integration. Document care provided, progress toward goals, and incidents according to agency policies and procedures. Implement individual service plans (ISPs) and behavior support plans (BSPs). Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all individuals served. Collaborate with families, guardians, case managers, and other professionals as needed. Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon in Ewa. Candidates must have completed MA training and must have current CPR certification. New graduates will be considered, although preference will be given to candidates with more years of clinical work experience. Excellent team skills and communication abilities are mandatory.
