Description: Direct Support Professionals (DSP) support people who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities in their own homes and communities. DSPs provide the supports people need to live self-directed lives, including caregiver supports like food prep, personal care, and following support plans. In this position, you support someone to go out and have fun, maintain their home, plan meals, cook, follow personal health routines, and achieve their dreams! Position Type: Greatest Need is for Weekend Shifts • 30 hours and above are considered full-time. Other shift options may be available. Qualifications: Most positions require a valid driver's license. Some of our Awake Overnight shifts do not require a license. Certifications and Trainings: Must pass required DHS background check and Protective Service Investigations. Must be able to maintain all certifications as required by PCL, such as CPR, Oregon Intervention System (OIS), and Mandatory Abuse Reporting. You will be trained on these subjects during a 2 week in-person orientation session.
