FastLights, a film and television lighting equipment rental house, is looking for an exceptional Office Administrator to manage our day-to-day operations. This isn't your average desk job. We need a true "Jack/ Jill -of-all-Trades" who can handle a variety of tasks and isn't afraid to take initiative. You'll be the central hub of our business, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your Role & Responsibilities: Quoting and Renting: Helping with job quotes and manage equipment rentals and crewing. Bookkeeping: Utilize QuickBooks Pro on line to help manage our financials. Experience with QuickBooks Online is a huge plus, but we can train smart folks. Office Management: Keep our office organized and efficient. Tech Savvy: Work with Google Docs and our CRM, Pipedrive. We are also implementing new systems like Ramp card, Gusto and exploring AI to streamline our receipt and expense management. What We're Looking For: Proactive & Resourceful: Someone who can anticipate needs and solve problems independently. You don't mind getting your hands dirty and help load trucks and even deliver when the fires are blazing (though this is not essential) Organized: A master of detail who can keep track of multiple projects and tasks. Tech-Comfortable: Eager to learn and use new software and systems. Schedule & Perks: Flexible hours, and if you need full time, we can gladly keep you busy. We are open 24/7. come to work anytime.. Some opportunities to work from home. Enjoy our amazing organic garden, where you can take home fresh organic vegetables. Tons and tons of tomatoes and beans....lol Relax and watch our dozen organically fed chickens roam the property (till the neighbors call and scold you for an escaped chicken messing up their mulch. ) And let us not forget, Big Fun (once you possibly help us get the business plan and pitch deck done!) : Television Production: We're currently developing a television series about folks creating a pre-industrial, fossil-free food forest and a medieval village on our 1,400 acres just outside the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. This includes horse-drawn tiny houses, permaculture, agroforestry, and land stewardship. It's an ongoing and exciting project. In short: If you are a highly-skilled and adaptable individual who wants to be a key part of a growing company, we want to hear from you. Also, feel free to reach out if you think you might have other job interests that are not mentioned here. We often train up film lighting technicians. We are always in need of folks for deliveries and sub rent pick ups and returns. Repair department is craving a tech to keep gear top notch. Trucks always need oil changes and lift gate maintenance. Yup. The Phucken Bullshit never ends, but we are pretty darn good and doing a great job with tons of repeat clients, so I guess we are doing something right. To apply, please send your resume and a brief introduction about yourself. My name is john... Key Words : The Earth Charter , The Land Ethic, Agroforestry , Permaculture, sustainable agriculture
