Mount This Fish Company replicas are life lasting memories for avid anglers and wall decor displayed throughout the world. Primary tasks: -- Glassing Molds -- Assembling Blanks -- Cutting Blanks Occasional Additional tasks: -- Prepping Blanks For Paint -- Assisting Senior Staff On Misc Production Tasks Starting rate is $16/hr with a 30 day evaluation period. Raise is possible at the 90 day review dependent on ability to comprehend and complete our process and techniques. Most employees are up to $17/hr at the 90 day mark. We do have an incentive program that rewards the team for high performance increasing hourly rate by up to $3/hr. Employees may be eligible after 90 days. Hand eye coordination is necessary for pneumatic tool use. Knowing your fish specie is not required but is highly preferred. Medical Insurance 50% copay available after 6 months. Perform fabrication, assembly, and packaging operations. Principal Responsibilities Fabricate fittings to customer specifications using customized fabricating equipment, hand, power tools, adhesives, and fixtures. Obtain components from stock/production. Set-up equipment to match product requirements. Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment and demonstrate good communication skills. Inspect completed parts. Prepare parts for shipping by placing them in boxes or on pallets. Correctly label all parts and boxes as needed. Visually inspect all incoming pipes, components, and gaskets for defects. Apply 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles. Maintains a safe working environment by following Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and attending training that is provided where required. Maintains a respectful working environment by following Human Resource Policies and attending mandatory training when required. Assist in the coordination, preparation, and execution of year-end inventory. Completing and maintaining reports for managers as required, which may include: Production reports Scrap reports Other duties may be assigned when applicable. Requirements Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred, however, full training will be provided Must be knowledgeable in basic math Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Must be a self-starter with good interpersonal and verbal communication skills coupled with an eagerness to learn Good team player including with a demonstrated ability to chip in to and foster a positive team environment Working knowledge of Health and Safety practices is helpful. After training, should exhibit an understanding of various types and sizes of pipes.
