Now Hiring; Journeyman Plumbers, Apprentice, HVAC Technicians and Sheet metal workers. We can see if we are a perfect fit for each other. • Pipe threading & proper connection • Use tools effectively, • Perform detailed takeoffs • Daily reports, • Material ordering, maintaining construction schedules, managing crews, strong mathematics skills, • Ability to travel to remote locations • Estimating for change orders • Testing & starting up of systems & test reports • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes • Fixtures and appliances • Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of the plumbing system, • Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper • Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus for integrated projects. • Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties. • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of plumbing work. • Working on fuel, natural gas, hydronic heating systems and glycol systems. • Ability to read technical data, and submittals • Knowledge of local and state codes, Uniform Plumbing Code and etc. • Valid Journeyman Plumbers license for (Alaska) Requirements: • Knowledge of local and national pluming codes. • Willingness to enroll in or already enrolled in a state-approved pluming program. (we are partnered with AVTEC). • Vailed driver’s license. • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn. • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing, and working in tight spaces. We are a locally owned and established asphalt maintenance company with over 20 years of experience in the industry. We’re looking to add a couple of new top hands to our crew. The Paving Supervisor position requires the ability to operate the following construction equipment; Skip Loader, Skid-steer, Back Hoe, Vibratory Compactor, Compressor with Jackhammer, & Plate Compactor. Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Paving Foreman. (include previous jobs or experience examples) Experience with Parking Lots and Repair & Maintenance projects. Must have supervisory skills handling crews ranging from 3-7 people. Must maintain high-quality workmanship. Must be capable and proficient in interacting with trucking subcontractors and other miscellaneous subs. Ability to travel for work during the week or weekend when needed. Able to work weekends when needed. Ability to pass drug test and physical. Clean driving record/valid drivers’ license (CDL license a plus). Responsibilities will include: Oversee, supervise, and run daily operations of one of our Asphalt Paving Crews, including the safety, quality, and personnel management aspects.
