Canepa is looking for an experienced automotive technician to join our team! This individual must be quality-minded, hardworking, and dedicated to providing the highest level of service in the industry. We are seeking a person who is highly professional, who can work individually, as well as part of a multifunctional team. Job Duties include but are not limited to: • Engine diagnostics and troubleshooting • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems, including the engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more • Perform engine diagnostics and troubleshooting to ensure optimal engine performance • Tune automotive engines for optimal performance • Communicate with the Shop Foreman about necessary repairs and provide time estimates Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician/Mechanic, with a focus on performance tuning and diagnostics • Proficient in operating Dynapack and other chassis dynamometers for performance testing and tuning • Knowledgeable in electronic fuel injection system development, diagnosis, and troubleshooting • Experience with basic internal engine repair, rebuilds, and setup procedures • Expertise in turbocharger, wastegate, and intercooler system development and tuning • Strong electrical experience, including working with automotive electrical systems and wiring • Basic computer and internet skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Available to work full-time (40 hours per week, Monday–Friday), with willingness to work overtime when needed Preferred: • Strong expertise in MoTeC and other engine management system tuning and calibration for high-performance and exotic vehicles • Experience working on Porsche vehicles, including performance upgrades and system tuning Our Benefits Include: • Medical, Dental, and Vision • Paid Vacation • 401K Job Title: Tuning Technician Job Type: Full-time Compensation: starts at $35/hour BOE This is a non-exempt, hourly position. We are seeking a lead carpenter with 5-10 years experience in architectural millwork. We specialize in manufacturing wood windows and doors for Historic buildings in the Brooklyn and Manhattan area. We have been in business for over 45 years and are looking to expand our team. Minimum of 5-10 years experience required. Experience using machinery a must! This job will require the use/knowledge of all machinery for surfacing material (jointer/planer) as well as experience with shapers, tenoners, and mortisers. This is a full time position.
