JOB SUMMARY: The Apartment Maintenance Porter is responsible for providing excellent resident service through daily maintenance projects as assigned by the direct supervisor. Punctuality, professionalism, and strong customer-service skills are also needed to support the initiatives of this position. This person must have a car to travel between properties within a 3-mile radius ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Establish working relationships with supervisors (PM or Maintenance), residents, and vendors. 2. Maintain building lighting, including light fixture and bulbs. 3. Maintain the maintenance shops in a clean and orderly fashion 4. Meet vendors and provide apartment access 5. Pick up materials at Home Depot as directed by your supervisor. Customer Service/Safety: 1. Adhere to safety protocols when completing maintenance tickets to ensure the safety of yourself and residents. 2. Provides timely communication maintenance concerns or trouble tickets with Property Manager Minimum Experience/Training Education: • High School diploma or GED • Valid driver’s license • Must have a reliable vehicle for travel between assigned locations • Two years of relevant experience preferred ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: •. Job Summary: Under the direction of the Assignments Supervisor, the Flagperson protects personnel and equipment while working on or near the tracks. The Flagperson uses various types of equipment, such as flags, whistles, discs, lights and two-way radios to ensure the safe passage of trains. The Flagperson duties primarily consist of three assignments, Switch Tender, Watchperson and Flagperson. The Switch Tender manipulates switches and signals train operators when proper switch alignment is provided. The Watchperson is charged with monitoring approaching trains and alerting work crews to clear the track of men and equipment.
