Major Areas of Responsibility Utilize a hand operated rail saw to cut rail as instructed Utilize hydraulic spike pullers, bolt guns, and hand tools to remove tie plates from ties Utilize a hydraulic drill for drilling relay rail Sort Other Track Materials (OTM) on the sort belt Clean switches using hand tools Sort and move miscellaneous railroad materials, including ties, tie plates, joint bars, anchors, etc. Perform general maintenance and upkeep on all company property and equipment utilized Clear weeds and brush from tracks, switches, and around the yard.
