Availability during the day, during the week is also available. We are seeking Caregivers dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate care and assistance to clients in their homes. Caregivers provide a variety of personal care and general wellness duties to client’s who rely on our care. These duties may include personal hygiene and grooming care; Assistance with toileting, ambulation, etc.; Providing meals for clients' nutritional needs; Reporting changes in clients' condition to supervisor, or client care coordinator; Performing routine housekeeping and home management duties; Recording each client's care on care plan and submitting care plan in a timely manner; Assisting with providing emotional support for the clients and their families; Assisting with routine therapy exercises; Participating in case conferences as requested; Attends all required in-service education sessions. Above all, must have a good sense of humor! ** Companion Requirements ** >> Must pass a background check. >> High School Diploma or equivalent >> Fluency in the English language >> Strong communication and listening skills >> A car, valid driver’s license, insurance and clean driving record (although not required) >> Ability to handle physical demands, such as lifting or supporting clients with standing, walking, bending, or crawling for extended periods, Assist with and encourage various types of physical exercise/movement, perform simple massages (primarily neck/back/legs) >> Encourage & assist using relaxation programs/apps that incorporate meditation, mindfulness, muscle relaxation, to help cope with stress, anxiety, improve mood and stimulate the mind. >> First Aid, CPR or CNA /nursing experience is a plus (not required) >> Pre-employment in home interview w/client prior to acceptance Using your phone, you'll need to register with GTI (GT Independence) create a portal account, download an app that you'll use to clock in and out with. Paychecks are processed weekly via direct deposit or payroll card. It is a simple, straight forward, hiring process with a fair amount of paper work and document signing (via emails) However it "may" take up to 60 days before being fully approved, hired and ready to work. Depending on your desire to work, attention to detail and communication skills you could do it in half that time. (It's up to you!)
