G & J Site Solutions, Inc. is hiring full-time, seasonal Construction Laborers, Crew Leaders, CDL Drivers, Irrigation Technicians, and Yard Supervisors in Hancock, Michigan. All experience levels are welcome to apply. A position with G & J is ideal for someone that enjoys variety in construction work such as turf restoration, landscaping, guardrail installation and maintenance, supply delivery, and irrigation work on private, state funded, and federally funded projects across Northeastern Wisconsin and Northern Michigan. WHAT WE OFFER. • Entry-level Laborer. $17.00 per hour starting pay based on experience. • Experienced Laborer. $18.00 - $21.00 per hour starting pay based on experience. • Crew Leader. $20.00 - $30.00 per hour starting pay based on experience. • Irrigation System Technician. $20.00 – $25.00 per hour starting pay based on experience. • Yard Supervisor. $17.00 – $23.00 per hour starting pay based on experience. • Class A CDL endorsement. For those with a Class A CDL, your rate of pay increases $2.00 per hour depending on the position you hold (Laborer, Crew Leader, Supervisor, or Technician). • Wages for work on State or Federally funded projects may be paid at a corresponding Davis-Bacon wage that can be up to $56.26 per hour or higher. • Year-end bonus. • Health insurance with employer premium contribution and AFLAC. • 401(k) retirement plan. • Paid sick time. • Growth and training opportunities. • Job security with an essential construction company. • Seasonal, full-time Monday–Friday position working Spring – December. Schedules may flex based on company needs and could include an occasional Saturday. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR. • Michigan Driver’s License and a clean driving record required. • Class A Commercial Driver’s License preferred, but not required. Those with a valid Class A CDL endorsement will be paid a higher pay rate and higher travel reimbursement. Employees that show initiative and the ability to operate vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, we will assist you in obtaining your Class A CDL. • Ability to perform physical work including working in outdoor weather conditions (hot, cold, snowy, windy, rainy, damp, dusty, dirty, etc.), inspecting and loading equipment, lifting objects up to 50 pounds, installing guardrails, and cleaning up job sites. • Ability to travel to job sites and stay overnight, if necessary, due to location of job site. Company provides transportation to/from job sites and provides lodging when overnight stays are necessary. • You are reliable, trustworthy, can meet deadlines, and work well individually and as a team member. • Ability to successfully pass a pre-hire drug and alcohol screening. As a Peer Support Specialist you would be a role model to the peer member's; exhibiting competency in personal recovery with the use of coping skills; serves as a peer advocate and supporter, providing peer members information and peer support in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Support adult peers in regaining independence within the community and mastery over their own recovery process. You will be taught to understand how the support services provided impact a peer’s recovery and contributes to their progression in the self-management of their recovery. You will document the value of the services provided as evidence of outcomes in recovery and perform in a wide range of settings, such as, in the wellness center, during transport, in the peer or family home, in community based outpatient settings including community agencies, in-patient psychiatric hospitals, or retail stores, food banks, etc. Minimum Qualifications / Experience: • Clear a background check and be free of major criminal offenses. • A current and valid Arizona driver's license with an acceptable 60 month MVR. • If in recovery, must be stable for over one year. • Pass a drug test. • Verifiable legal status to work in the United States. Education / Certifications: • HS diploma or GED • Peer Support Specialist Certification a plus • CPR/First Aid certificate a plus
