We are seeking an experienced Web Developer to work collaboratively with our IT team based in Anderson, California, with a hybrid schedule possibility. About the Position Take ownership of the full lifecycle of customer-facing and internal website applications Collaborate with users to understand and create project requirements and specifications Work independently and in a team environment to design, develop, and maintain browser-based applications and user experiences Proactively troubleshoot and test production issues Use critical thinking and effective communication to solve problems and provide solutions with varying degrees of complexity Be resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas Provide direct technical support to users and staff Promote a positive, team-oriented, collaborative, and problem-solving focused work environment Qualifications 5 years’ minimum combined college-level education in Software Engineering, Application Development, or related Computer Science program, and/or professional experience in Web and Application Development Professional experience in full-stack web development with front-end technologies like HTTP, JavaScript/jQuery, AJAX, and CSS Professional experience in back-end coding languages such as C# or VB in a .Net environment Preference given for professional experience in database development, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases Preference given for experience with Visual Studio, Razor/Blazor, Bootstrap, DevExpress, or Azure Cloud Proven problem-solving and time management skills Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills Why Join Our Team? The general wage range for this position at Sierra Pacific Industries is from $70,000 to $125,000 per year, and is dependent upon a number of factors, including, but not limited to: relevant work experience, skill, knowledge, and/or education.
