Deliver food orders to customers quickly and accurately, using foot, scooter, or e-bike as required. Ensure orders are delivered to the correct delivery location in the correct delivery mode (i.e. room service vs. off premise).   Uphold sanitation and food safety principles.   Maintain cleanliness of work areas as well as guest areas.    Complete daily checklists for specific role responsibilities.  Follows daily opening and closing runner duties set by the Manager.   Waste management.   Log pertinent waste and production information daily.   Handle the kitchen phone to assist guests.   Relays necessary guest concerns/feedback to management effectively to ensure quality control and guest satisfaction.    Works hand in hand with managers, other runners, cooks and hotel staff in a safe, respectful manner.   Following all company policies and procedures.  Job Qualifications:    Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced restaurant environment. Understanding of hygiene and safety protocols and standards.  Be able to walk and stand during entire shift/ long periods of time.  Multi-Tasking abilities.  Good oral communication skills. We are a bakery which offers a variety viennoiserie and breads on a rotating seasonal menu highlighting French technique with Mexican flavors. We are hiring passionate bakers who are willing to learn and be thorough in an artisan bakery! As a baker at Forma you will work closely with the owner to make hand shaped, highly fermented products fresh every morning. The seasonally rotating menu involves a range of traditional and plant based viennoiserie, naturally leavened breads, conchas, and small pastry items. Regardless of position, you will be required to shape a large range of items and be cross involved in many of the products. Currently we are looking for bakers to do the bread bake where you will bake our range of hearth breads, shape baguettes, and assist in production and prep. Applicants need to be able to work in a team, being respectful to fellow coworkers and customers. Communication is highly important as this is a team environment where we respectfully discuss the product as it will be held to a consistently high standard. It is required to have some kitchen experience with knowledge of food safety. Bread baking experience is highly preferred; however, other kitchen experience is acceptable as long as you are motivated to learn and have a passion for baking! Applicants must be able to perform the physical tasks of the job including but not limited to: carrying 50lbs bags of flour, working on their feet for an 8 hour shift, bending down, reaching, operating the deck oven.
