This role will be part-time. Job Summary:  The Cider House Cook works in harmony with the General Manager, Kitchen Manger and front of house Cider-tenders to create a memorable experience for our guests. This role will craft delicious, high-quality dishes that pair perfectly with our exclusive cider offerings while maintaining a safe, gluten-free environment in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role also showcases Schilling’s commitment to culinary excellence and customer satisfaction.  Key Responsibilities: Work alongside and communicate strongly with front of the house staff  Ensure proper cleanliness, food safety, and upkeep of the kitchen area and equipment  Execution of menu items in a timely manner with proper presentation.  Able to help with prep  Flexibility to work peak hours of the business  Eager to help create specials that keep guests coming back for more  Interest or ability to work in front of the house and be cross-trained as a cider-tender  Requirements Must be 21+ years of age Previous kitchen experience, including prep, fryer, and grill equipment  Previous restaurant or hospitality experience  Highly organized and committed to learning  Current and up-to-date Oregon Food handlers permit  Must be able to work effectively and collaboratively with collogues and external partners   Be active in conversations around company culture and an agent of change, positively contributing to the workplace experience  Regular and predictable in-person attendance is a requirement of this job  Lead by example and take initiative; be outgoing and approachable  Be self-driven and self-motivated  Work independently and as part of the team  Be an energetic, organized, and motivated problem solver  Exemplify the company’s values while representing our brands  Ask for help when needed  Benefits Salary: $18-$19/hr DOE +tips
