Job description: Phoenix Landscape Management, an industry leader for over 30 years, is looking for a Crew Supervisor, with a good attitude, an excellent work ethic and willingness to learn in a fast paced environment. Job Responsibilities and Qualifications: *Good driving record with a 3 year history required. *Clean background with the ability to get a badge at the Military Base. *Proven experience in landscape maintenance and landscaping with an eye for detail. *Strong supervisory skills with a background in leading teams. Ability to work well with others. *Knowledge of lawn care, tree care, and horticulture practices *Leadership qualities with a focus on team development and maintenance standards *Turf/Fertilization experience, familiarity with irrigation systems, and groundskeeping techniques preferred. Landscape enhancement knowledge is a plus. *Ability to delegate work efficiently and stay on schedule. *Ability to complete all tasks on property with daily instruction from management. *Willingness and ability to train crew members in all aspects of landscape maintenance *Takes ownership over equipment and work *Maintains truck and equipment in a safe, clean, working condition. *Routine blade changes, and equipment tagging when repair needed *Ability to clearly communicate crew member performance to management. Materials and Equipment Duties: *Maintain assigned materials/equipment and maximize their useful life *Update Lawn Maintenance Manager regarding shrinkage, failure and needed replacements *Monitor tool assignments and loss/damage; hold team member accountable as needed *Maintain vehicles, tools and equipment according to manufacturers’ directions *Maintain Fuel/Mileage logs for vehicles and equipment Physical Requirements: *Bending, kneeling, heavy lifting and excessive walking *Must be able to tolerate extreme weather conditions *Must be able to navigate over rough/uneven terrain *Must be able to observe and inspect outdoor spaces *Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks Normal work hours are Monday thru Thursday from 7am until 5pm or later. Friday work is sometimes required. The position requires that you’re a Confident Trouble shooter, and a Competent Technician, capable of both precise, and timely evaluation. Capable of performing repairs on both commercial and residential type systems, including but not limited to DX -Splits and Packaged systems, VRF. Water source Heat pump, VRF, DOAS, Pumps, Cooling Tower and/or Commercial Control experience are highly sought, wages are based on verifiable ability. Key Responsibilities: But not limited too. • Identify and diagnose system issues. • Perform repairs, arrange for parts when needed, communicate with technical support or senior technician, to assist in diagnosis, when needed. • Ability to confirm high voltage requirements, confirming connected power is adequate and when needed, troubleshooting of high voltage connection points from panel to equipment, low voltage wire troubleshooting, brazing of copper tubing, Plumb and repair drains, weighing in of refrigerant charges on newly installed and existing Systems.
