Vehicle must be parked at the warehouse every night as the warehouse workers will load up your vehicle* it will be loaded and ready when you arrive. Competitive pay!! Plant maintenance technician for a millwork/casework manufacturer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of the production facility. *Must have experience in both high / low voltage controls. Responsibilities • Equipment Maintenance: • Performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various woodworking machinery like table saws, jointers, planers, CNC machines, and dust collection systems. • Maintaining and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical components such as pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, bearings, and chains. • Performing welding and fabrication tasks as needed. • Safety & Compliance: • Ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and regulations (OSHA, etc.). • Maintaining a safe and organized work environment, according to the Architectural Woodwork Institute. • Utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection. • General Maintenance: • Assisting with overall building maintenance tasks. • Providing coverage in the absence of other maintenance technicians. • Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and service history.
