Deliver food orders to customers quickly and accurately, using foot, scooter, or e-bike as required. Ensure orders are delivered to the correct delivery location in the correct delivery mode (i.e. room service vs. off premise).   Uphold sanitation and food safety principles.   Maintain cleanliness of work areas as well as guest areas.    Complete daily checklists for specific role responsibilities.  Follows daily opening and closing runner duties set by the Manager.   Waste management.   Log pertinent waste and production information daily.   Handle the kitchen phone to assist guests.   Relays necessary guest concerns/feedback to management effectively to ensure quality control and guest satisfaction.    Works hand in hand with managers, other runners, cooks and hotel staff in a safe, respectful manner.   Following all company policies and procedures.  Job Qualifications:    Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced restaurant environment. Understanding of hygiene and safety protocols and standards.  Be able to walk and stand during entire shift/ long periods of time.  Multi-Tasking abilities.  Good oral communication skills. Meriwether Godsey is looking for a Full-Time Utility Steward responsible for maintaining the sanitation of the kitchen, cafeteria, and dining room at a private, coeducational college-preparatory school in Holderness, New Hampshire. Must be available to work a 2pm-8 pm schedule $15-$16 per hour (Depending on experience)   Great Customer Service Skills and Food Handling Experience Preferred What the Utility Steward will do:     Set up and operate the dish machine for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, trays, silverware, glassware, pots, and pans: scrape, separate, and organize items   Note and record dish-machine temperatures, reporting low temperatures or machine malfunctions immediately   Transport related supplies and assist in the setup of dining and serving areas   Clean cafeteria areas throughout and after meal periods and replenish them to ensure service without interruption   Set up and use three - compartment sink for cleaning and sanitizing pots and pans   Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and cafeteria areas, including sweeping, mopping floors, and removal of trash   Assist with receiving and storage of food products and food preparation following correct food handling procedures to ensure food safety   Perform all duties by food safety and sanitation best practices   Other duties, as assigned     What the Utility Steward will need:     Prior dishwashing experience (1 year preferred) Strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.   Flexibility: the ability to switch between tasks and responsibilities as needed   Reliability and a willingness to work in a hot, humid environment   Ability to stand/move about for long periods and lift 25 lbs.   Ability to adhere to company safety and sanitation procedures   Good communication skills and great attitude What the Utility Steward will get:  Competitive Pay, Uniforms, Meals, Great Working Environment Meriwether Godsey offers significant opportunities for growth and career advancement.
